Confetti throwing is a time honoured tradition dating back to ancient times used to honour a significant success or mark a celebration. In modern times the petal toss which showers the happy couple as they exit from their exchange of vows to begin the wedding celebration has become the iconic wedding photo. A recent twist is the use of natural confetti made from freeze-dried, biodegradable flower petals at weddings.
